ORIGINAL: cjsuret

Mad Mike, I am only replacing the engine. The car originally had the 5 speed. The bell housing on the five speed didn't have enough clearance for a 168 tooth flywheel. It was originally 153. ANd yes I had to order it cuz there arent many made with 153 tooth, and large crank holes.
And your 305 starter will not bolt to the 350 block now with the stagered holes??? Did the 305 not have the stagered patern on the starter?

Has anyone ever matched a 350 and a t5?
Yes GM has

My '87 IROC has a 350, with the T5. Granted...the T5 just died, but the point is, it works in it..
