Lightbulb MaxJax Hydraulic Lift by Dannmar for Garages

I like this -- anyone used one? Fits in any garage with ceilings less than eight feet -- perfect.

I have been toying with the idea of designing and building my own version of these. It would be tuff to do it for less then 2K. Just the pump and cylinders will cost close to $1000 unless I use China made stuff.

I would have to cut holes in my roof for that lift.

We just got done installing this one it works great bu the instructions were a bit to be desired. One thing I did find out after we bought this was the lifts that are certified really lift nearly as much as the recommended capacity of non certified even though the non certified are rated 1000 lbs more. The one thing I would wonder about movable lift is the repeated torqueing of the floor bolts.
