Rebuilding a LT1 and i need your help

Default Rebuilding a LT1 and i need your help

Ok.. i work at a bodyshop.. and really dont know anything too much about engines and stuff. so my boss said he would rebuild my LT1 if i got all the parts... this is where i need you. what will give me the best bang for my buck.. such as cam and etc. I am in the process of buying my first house so money will be kinda tight.. i realize if you want the power you need the money.. so just gve me the best stuff i need to make it a strong motor... i already have headers

If you are not looking for a road going locomotive, the stock internals should be OK. You could use a LT4 hot cam kit fpr a little more zip. However, the beest results come by using better flowing heads. After you are all done, make sure to get the PCM tuned to take advantage of all your mods.
