Default question on "Blueprint" brand crate engines

I tried posting this question on the "v8 engine forum but got no responses so I'd like to try it here.

Jegs sells SB chevy crate engines made by BLUEPRINT. I called and spoke with a sales tech that said they are seasoned blocks bored up to .040. He also said they are assembled by a parent company called Marshall engines (I think). These engines are reasonably priced and equipped with some decend parts. I'd appreciate some input on these engines if any of you tried them out? I'm wondering of quality and reliability on these engines? I'm kinda concerned about a block being bored .040. Thanks in advance for any input.

.040 is not that bad, they more than likely sonic check the blocks to make sure the block will handle the over bore. I have seen blocks go .060 over with no problem
