Well i have an extra 3800 block and i decided i would save and build it since its winter. I know it won't have alot of power but I want to beable to say i did it. I was wondering what internals yall would say are the best and what power could i reach if i ported out the block. (I also have an extra transmission to rebuild)

that is a generic question. it all depends on your budget and what you want to do with it. i am currently building a 97 lt1 twin turbo. budget started with 10,000 now it is 15,000. like i said you can spend what ever you want. hp is not cheep.

 

There's a number of simple upgrades you can do. Head swap, cam swap, intake, throttle body, injectors, etc.

State your end goals a little better and I think you'll get better responses. How often you'll be driving it, driving habits, etc. that you want to do with it. You'll get a more detailed response too.
