Default Build up motor or buy new one

Hey, I got another question. Do ya'll think I should build up my stock 350ci or should I buy a new crate motor(maybe an LS3 or something). But it would be a little while before I could get the crate.

Thanks

If your present motor is a good running motor, then I'd gradually build it up. If it's old and tired I'd save for the crate motor. Be sure to run a compression check before deciding to build your's anyway.
