hey i was wondering what all is involved in a 350 engine swapp from a 3.4 l how difficult is it to do what all needs to be changed would i need a new trans or justa performance clutch just any imput would be great

yes if you woulda used the search function you woulda realized that there is no reason for a v8 swap.. just swap in a 3800 and gut the cat and you will be makin 500hp easy..

 

It all depends on what kind of swap? Fuel injected or carb? I think that if you decide to do that then the carb might be the way to go. If you go fuel injected then you'll need wiring harness, computer etc and that could end up costing more than it's worth.

 

search is a good start but it's probably cheaper to just buy a V-8 car that has the other things needed to hold up to v-8 power

 

so what your sayin i can make my 98 camaro v6 just as fast as a ss?
