Default Cleaning up my Engine Compartment

I know it's really not an engine mod but can anyone give me adviseon cleaning up the engine compartment on my 92 RS, 305 LO3 with TBI. If you know the car you know that the engine area is a wreck and cluttered all to hell. I'm not worried about emissions on it so whatever I can rip out to clean it up I will. Anyone have any suggestions??

You could try hiding the wiring, and other things that don't have to be in the engine compartment (i.e. the battery). Humans are kind of like crows in that they are attracted to shiny things. Chrome can go a long way. You could get new valve covers that have a cleaner, smoother look. Headers would look better than the standard (usually rusty) exhaust manifolds). A better looking air cleaner will help too. Literally cleaning it will help. You could also try hiding things such as the radiator overflow bottle. If you didn't care about windshield wiper fluid you could get rid of that as well. Possibly steel braded fuel lines, radiator tubes, etc. could help.

Actually, come to think of it, a lot of that clutter is probably from the air conditioning. However, you might not want to get rid of that.
