Default do you know what this means

when i start my car a light comes on and stays on estl rest its a 92 25 anv i have a haynes book but i cant find anything about it

You sure you're not seeing Infl Rest? That stands for Inflatable Restraint (air bag). If the light isn't turning off, you have a malfunction with something in your air bag system, and it's now been disabled. One cause could be a broken clock spring (a coiled up air bag electrical connection ribbon that turns with the steering wheel) that's inside the steering column. If anybody ever disconnected the link from the steering column to the box, and thought it would be neat to give the steering wheel a fast twirl, that can certainly break the clock spring. You could also have a bad sensor at the front bumper, or a bad wiring connection anywhere in the air bag system.
