Default 1992 Camaro fuel pump

I just bought this "92" 305 RS and I am not hearing the fuel pump.

The car will run pouring gas down the intake.

Is there a fuse for the fuel pump circut? I'll check the relay in a little while. (after the weather warms up a bit)

The PO told me they had removed some fuses from the fuse panel.

I can't read the diagram in the manual. The writing is too small.

Thanks in advance. Roy

Does anyone know if the gray wire going to the fuel pump is the hot wire?

What is the purple wire for on the fuel pump?

I am getting low voltage on the purple wire and none on the grey wire. Roy

I think I may have found the problem. Roy

better clean your gas tank out. looks like some water got in there at one time.

I also think some gasahol got in there too.

The car fired right up. I then drove it off the trailer and drove it down the road. Runs fine and shifts fine.

This is the first time the car has run in a long time. Roy

How'd you get it apart, back together, and running so fast. Did you drop the tank to get to the pump? That crumbly/split rubber connector looks a lot like the one my 91 had, same problem.

Some one cut the fuel pump out before. I was chasing down the fuel pump wires down and saw where they butchered the metal.

Something else to fix. Roy
