No, what I've seen done is if you make it to wear it fits the whole space on your back deck, from the back seat to the start of your box, and from side panel to side panel, it will set there and not more unless something bad happens. I've seen people use velco on the bottom of the riser pieces to make it stick to the factory capet there. Just do a search for camaro amp rack and you'll see a lot or different ones. If you have more questions about building one or whatever, just let me know and I'll help you out.

Oh like an amp rack that can hold itself up.. that's kinda cool. And yeah I agree, drilling into the body would be my last option. Drill into subs or make an amp rack.

It will look much better and it won't leave holes in your car if you decide to upgrade componets or whatever. I've built several, so if you want any help or info. just ask.

o ok i get it now, ima work on making one, after i get the supplies payday, ill take a pic to let u guys see how it turned out

why even go that far?
Personally I just use velcro on the bottom of the amps. Works fine. Mine haven't slid an inch 8-).
