Default MSD in a third gen!!! where to mount?

I am going to buy a 6a box and was wondering where the best place to mount it is. I was looking around the engine compartment for a half hour and i did not see any flat surface readily available... I want to keep it in the engine compartment if possible, but if there is an easy way to get it into the passenger compartment with the supplied wires, please share. Wheredo you guys have them mounted?
thanks

I answered you yesterday, but my response got wiped after this site got ****ed up!
How about putting the box in front, on the driver's side, between the charcoal canister and inner fender?

In my 84 I had one mounted over by the brake booster. But I did not have any relays over there. Just an EST. Maybe you can relocate that bracket to the side where the fender bolts.
