ok i got the factory bose system 5 speakers an amp i wanna hook up an amp for a sub iam leaving the stock bose cd player in. i know how to hook everything up but since the speakers are ran to the factory amp iam gonna go buy the rca converter. other cars all u gota do is run it to the 2 rear speakes an you got signal but will it work with the speakers hooked to the fatory amp?

 

im not completely sure, but i dont beleave you have to bypass anything for a sub and sub amp.

 

you might want to check out your rear speakers...(back seat) if they are like mine you might be in for a suprise!!!

 

like i said bose factory set up an if i re did the head unit with a aftermarket one i wouldnt be askin since i know how to install it but all the other cars i did i used the rca special splitter on the rear speakers but never did it with the bose speakers an amp

 

RCA splitter should work on the rear speakers
