How Do I Hook Up My Speedometer?

Question How Do I Hook Up My Speedometer?

I have a 700R4 In my 91 Camaro with a 350 now i havent got up under there to see if its Electric Sensor or cable. But i would like to hook it up to my stock cluster i just purchased for the car. any advice?

It's electric, no cable. Aren't the original hookups to the transmission still there? The back of the gauge cluster has a flexible pc board for it's connections, and it plugs right into the dash.

I have not got under the car yet, but will today if its electric thats a plus because the cluster is too, but the cluster has no wires it just gets pushed in to these to plugs so what are you talking about?

The cluster has two receptacles, and there are two fixed plugs mounted in the dash. The cluster gets pushed back in place and plugged in. The flexible PC part is what makes all the gauge and lighting connections to the back.

my speedo in my 91 is acting up it only does it untill the car gets to 220 degrees then works it bobbs back and forth as im driving and when i put it in neutral it starts works but when i put it back to drive it starts bobbing up and down again what is wrong?

does anyone know what is cousing my speedo to only work when car warms up??
