where can i hook this up?
i need to find someplace to put in the oil pressure sending unit for my autometer gauges. i looked around the oil filter and such and didnt see any good places. its an electric sending unit.
Yes he could just tap into that one. He does need to keep the oem sender because the fuel pump works through it. But I would want the sender that came with the gauge because I believe the Autometer sender is more accurate.
hey, when i did mine, i used a plug in the back of the manifold just below the distributor cap. I had to get a 90 degree elbow and a small extension for it to fit though. then again, your runninga TPI, it may not have anything like that. But thats where i went, have a look, maybe it has one still.
yes, the sender is threaded. where is the oil rifle? i didnt see any plugs except for a freeze plug toward the middle. my factory gauge wiring is fried, which is why im using aftermarket gauges. and the guage will only work with the included sender, the oem wont. if there is a plug behind the distributor, i cant fit my hand down into there
my block is really dirty, i may have missed seeing a location to hook it up.

There is a hole in the block near the dizzy. I think on the left side of it. That is where oil pressure senders hook to. Or yours may be already by the oil filter. Do you already have a long black thing coming out by the filter?
