I have a 79 camaro without any stereo equipment in it at all. I figured it would be good to wire in a sound system as I restore the interior. I am pretty clueless on car audio. I am just looking for a cheap, descent sounding system. Not looking for high quality at all.Just something to listen to over the silence thatI have now...Any suggestions would be great...

 

ive got an alpine head unit with inifinity speakers in my 89, sounds good enough for me. No subs or anything extra. All and all, prolly cost about 700 bucks, but it got a fat discount cause my friend works at best buy. lol

It was amazing in my C1500. I didn't spend a whole lot, and the sound was impressive.

I've got a '74 Z, but there's a [huge] softspot in my heart for '79s.
