So i got plans for a sub box for my 86 camaro and it sat flush with the back and i got a thinking the bass hits and reflects off the back sheild so if i make a box that goes from the top of the rear seat down to the back then it will help channel the bass.....But from what i did i figured out it allows for a harder and lower bass hit to reach up to the front with out being lost anywhere else plus it makes a great place to add some cool lighted glass....and if you doubt me any bit on this i half a 12" fosgate punch p1 and a p2 10" running off a 300 watt walmart special amp....Just wanted to throw the idea out to people because its such a good item to have to hide and enhance your subs...pictures will be up soon when i completly finish it....

 

post some pics when its done sounds like a goo idea but i see two bad points
1 sounds like your loose a lot of space
2 you won't be able to see out of the hatch

 

Yeh The truck space is kinda lost but not all the way....I still think i can fit a 30 back there if not i guess i'll have to adjust my box to make a fit in cooler LOL...that would be cool lol....but yeh looking out is fine it just sucks that i have the wood there not covered in carpet or anything so it reflects in the rear window in the sun...but there is no loss of vision otherwise since it only goes to about the top of the rear seat....So yeh i figured i had alot of work left to do to this box but here are some images of how it is right now I still need to work on doing the plex glass and fabric it all up and some small tweaks here and there....

Alrighty guys i got it all fabric up and i put a neon in but its alittle to small to light the glass.....the only thing i want to finish it up with is some letters that say Berlinetta in white then i am done

Thanks man its not completed yet but i figured i'd show each step...i still have to get a brighter neon for it since the one i got just makes it look like tis glow in the dark plus i want to add berlinetta in white under it to mix it up so it not just a black board

I will i just got a purple neon to put under the glass just got to get some extra cash so i can do the letters under it but i am still running into a problem with some extra black space when it is open so i might try to get the girl friend to contribute some like stiching of some angels since i call the car my Dark Angel...
