Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for a 97 camaro? I need one for the radio harness. I know what all the wires are for but i have a short in my red power wire and need to fix it, but I dont know where it goes to. I know once it plugs into the factory harness in the car its a yellow wire.

 

bill, aftermarket or factory? you can always run new wires. i beleive the red one goes to a fuse that turns off when the key is shut off. anyway haynes manual @ auto zone.

 

nevermind, it was just a case of mistaken wire identity and i got confused for a minute. realized it right after i posted.. thanks though

 

now quit messing with the wiring.

ok ok, im done. I had do put a new CD player in it.. I kinda broke the other one on accident. but, its all fixed now and i can actually listen to music.

thanks.. I was bored today and figured this pic showed the car better than the last one since it wasnt taken with a phone. I actually have been wanting to paint the brakes but i was debating on what color. I couldnt really decide so i put it off for a while, but I think your right about the black looking cleaner..

Nah, it really isnt that bad. Just 1 extra wire to replace a shorted wire. I've seen that wiring so many times it isnt even funny. I really don't know how many times i have had my cd player in/out of my car. I've had my car for 11 months now and I have had 4 cd players in it already.
The first one was just old so i replaced it with a different one, but then i messed that one up and took my sisters and put it in there. Then she took it back and so i put the one i had back in, and now have the new one in. long story..
