Thank you Liberty for that webstie, very helpful.

Basic, I just realized buying the Head Unit off Crutchfield gives you installation parts free. I have the HU picked out now, and the speakers I want are buy one pair get one pair free (total around $250). I just have to reorganize myself and pull the trigger, I probabaly won't be able to order anything until after the holiday weekend, I'll keep you posted, have a good holiday weekend everyone.

Exclamation Just my luck.

Awesome, just got my newest interior mod, THE SES light.
Hopefully it will be a cheap fix and I still will be able to buy my stereo, which by the way the Kickers I was looking at weren't true 6.5s, they were 6's, so now I'm looking at the Infinity reference series speakers, the shallow mounts for the doors and the bigger ones for the rear panels.

And do I need a speaker harness for the new ones or are they just convenient? I might order the speakers off amazon because they are around $50 cheaper per pair than they would be from Crutchfield.

Thanks for joining in, I think I've got everything sorted out now. I'm buying the infinity reference series speakers on Amazon, one pair shallow mount, one not. And I'm buying the Pioneer deh 33hd headunit off crutchfield's webstite that comes with mounting equipment free. So now I just need to get my SES light checked out and once I fix that, I will order the system. Thanks everybody.

Exclamation New direction of the thread

Alright, just started browsing subs/amps and was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of a low end quality amp. I'm thinking I'd get the Infinity 1060w Single voice Sub, so I need an amp thats at least 250 rms bridged at 4ohms. Does anybody have one they highly recommend in the (hopefully) $100 or less from amazon range? I've looked unsuccessfully on Craigslist. Also, how particular do you have to be about making a box? I was thinking put the sub in the compartment across from the spare tire, and maybe the amp under the driver's seat? Anyway, all help is welcome here, the HU and speakers should be ordered as early as tommorow hopefully.
