They get hot but it's a metal housing so why would it melt?

Oh is it metal? I haven't bought them yet and so I though they were plastic...

Yah, the housing is metal and the clear piece is glass. The only plastic parts are the back to take light bulbs out and the halo ring.

Think the police would get mad if i installed a flasher module to flash the rings and underside LEDs? Lol

They have already pulled me over once before, I laughed at him.

On a side note, has anyone tried putting an actual HID kit on theirs yet? I saw a H3 HID bulb and its huge.
