Or I could try to fit these in there and also have a strobe light action ... They're only an 1/8" larger than yours... Do you think it's possible to cram the suckers in there?

I bought the Pilot 1069W which is 3" X 3 1/2" - took them back cause I didnt read all the way through, just seen the earliest post about how the ones with strobes would not fit.... So Has anyone used the Pilot HID with Strobe? I will go get them- all 4- today, I measured my socket and it measures 5" to the hood, but i dont know how tall the metal mount is..

These are the same ones I bought- Autozone doesnt caryy any other kind right around here. not from TX so ive never been in Pep Boys, Sorry if this is repititious, but I seen that You (OP) changed from the original set- the NV 538w's to a newer model- what # were those? I didnt see it on the posts, but i have a bad habit of skipping through while i read the posts . great Thread BTW

He said that they were they exact same model number and everything... Odd enough I know. Just had two LED's instead of one.

How is the light output while driving down the road with the lowbeams on?

Which ones exactly did you buy?? Did you get the ones with the strobe light?? Did they fit ok??

To me it seems like you have brights on. Its really great.

For those of you who doubt the light is good for driving, it's easy to switch out the bulbs inside. The stock bulbs are 55W H3's, I just put in 100W H3's and they are amazing.

The 100w isn't melting the housing!?!?!
