well this is my fault for not taking the car to a person who knew what they were doing,my driver side window motor went out in my 01 camaro,so my brother says he can replace it for me(i had just had back surgery so was unable to do it at the time)so he replaces the motor, everything is fine for a few days, then i notice its not closing all the way,got about a 1/4 inch gap at the top right side, well it gets worse and worse till eventually it only closing about half way and making a clunk noise when it works,so i take the panel off and find out that instead of grinding the rivets off the motor, like the instructions say,he ground off almost all of them so now the window track is unstable and has actually moved so much it unplugged the motor,i put everything back together using new bolts and whatnot, everything is fine for a week or 2 then starts not closing all the way again,i take it back apart and all the bolts are still there, they have just loosened i tighten them all back up,but realize its just going to happen again because the fiberglass panel where he ground the rivets off just doesent have the strenght to keep it from moving around....what can i do to fix this problem
sorry for such a long post i just didnt want to leave anything out
