Does anyone know where this Vapor Purge Valve is on a 99 Camaro?

I can't find it online, LOL!



I know there is a canister at the rear, but I thought this was someplace near the engine.

If anyone knows, could you explain in laymans terms, Im not a mechanic, so is it on the left or right side, high or low, and what might it be next to? LOL. I know where the spark plugs are, thats a start LOL.

 

The purge valve is just behind the thermostat stuck in the side of the upper intake. It is black and has a hose and 2 wires plugging it into the top. The one you show is not the one from the 99 3800 it is more like the one for a 3.4L

Thanks man, I cant believe I couldnt see that, it was right in front of my face, LOL. It was easy to change.

I had the right part the pic i showed was just a quick image lookup.
