Since my 96 LT1 z28 is missing its vapor canister purge solenoid, it throws a code. I found the 2 blade electrical connector, but where do the vacuum lines route to and from? Can someone provide the vacuum schematic for the secondary air system. I have seen some on this and other sights, but none show the two vacuum hose routings.

 

I don't know if its the 2nd air system line but one leads to a relief valce that should be above your rear end on the driver side, what is the code that it's throwing?

 

I don't recall exactly the code # but it refered to the secondary air system. Diagrams of this solenoid show it to mount behind the air pump at the engine. Not the one in the rear wheel housing. It would be AC Delco part #214-565.

 

ok, Mine sits infront of the passenger side of the motor. where your radiator is there would be 2 pictures, one should be fore your belt and the other should show you where your solenoid and air pump is at but I could be wrong

 

I may have given wrong information. The component I am missing is a bleed valve. There is a diagram in the 4th Gen A.I.R. pump recall components page.

 

Ok then I think they are the same two things I was thinking of.
