what metal is the head on a 94 camaro made out of?

I was doing a tune up today first time on this car but not my first time , I started with the left side ( the hard side ) got them out easy , then started on the easy side , got the first out on the right side , then went for the second I noticed right away when I went to break it loose it was already loose, so I thought to myself the guy I had do it before must not have tighten it up good enough , so I went to untighten it with my hand , im guessing he stripped it , because it wont loosen up or tighten up anymore , my question is does this just happen sometimes or did he jack it up by over tightening , and from the other stuff Ive read im probly gunna have to take the head off and have someone re-thread it , this is my first post and I'm not a auto guru but I have been doing oil changes and tune up for quite awhile, just basically want to hear what you more exprienced guy have to say.

so the chances of the spark plug port being stripped are pretty slim if its cast iron right? most likely the spark plug is stripped.

No, Cast iron is a pretty wimpy metal campaired to the coated steel that your plugs are made of. Chance are that if one is messed up they both are and the head will need a repair. If you get that plug out and the cast threads are still good you should play the loto cause you would be one lucky fella.
Since the plug is spinning and not coming out, you know it's stripped out. But as I told you in your other duplicate thread... the fact that you can't even pull the plug out would mean that there's a very good chance that the threads stripped out of the head, are still wrapped around the spark plug, and that lump of threads on the plug is what's preventing it from being able to come back out.
I thought the 3.4 had aluminum heads? I know the 60 degree 2.8 and 3.1 V6's used in transverse applications had aluminum heads, aluminum intakes, and iron blocks...
The 3800, on the other hand, is a 100% iron monster with an aluminum intake.
