i was wondering witch code reader is the right one to use for a 1995 3.8 v6 camaro well is it the obd 1 or the obd2? so if i could get a answer asap so i could go buy it !!!!!!thanks you!!!!!!!!

How do you have a '95 3.8? I'm pretty sure the 3.8 didn't come out till '98 and I know the '95s were shipped with the 3.4. Anyway, it should be OBDII

96 was the first official year of the 3.8, but there were some 3.8's that came out early for california. As for the scanner, I'm not too sure.

Oh, didn't know that. If it is a Chevy shipped 3.8 then it will be OBDII.

You need an OBD1 reader with an OBD2 cable.
