best code reader

Iwant to buy a code reader for my 98 camaro v6. I want something with real time reading?

You want to spend bucks then go to ****-E-bay and get yourself a Snap-on Modis or Solis or an OTC scanner. But they are expensive for the guy that just wants it for home use.

yeah a real time reader will run you a few grand and its not necessary unless youre a full time racer and need it or you actually use it for daily work

just a standard obd2 reader will be just fine to read codes

There are inexpensive hand held readers that also give some data. You could search ****-e-gay and get manufacture names then search the web for those models. You may find a better deal and some place more trust worthy than what you find on e-gay. Also at one time a ran across software for a computer to basicly make your computer into a scanner. All you would need is the software, a cable and to make it easy, a laptop.
