super big question to anyone.. the other day i was driving my car, 2000 camaro, 5 speed, and i was shifting to third gear and it popped out, i tried to put it back in but when i pushed the clutch but the clutch was already pushed down.. so im not sure what happened, now my clutch is messed up. so im basically screwed..

anyone know what could have happened?

my clutch is basically pushed down, my car will start, but i cant put it in gear.

when the car is off and i start it in first.. it starts moving... so im really confused... anyone that could help would be amazing, thanks

Default RE: transmission/ clutch help?

there is obviously a problem with the hydrolic pedal. THere is a resevoir in the top right corner of the engine compartment, fromt here a braided steel line runs to the cylander which goes throught the firewall and is pushed on by your cluch pedal, form there is goes to a slave cylader (on the pre 1997 modesl the slave is outside the tranny) on post 1997 iv heard some of those components may be inset or inside. chances are you blew a line and lost all of your fluid, or you could be low on fluid. check the reservoir and if its full its a problem with the pedal cylander. make sure the pedal itself isnt stuck ( you cna pull it back freely) and if you pull back on the pedal and the cylander rod stays depressed your problem lies around there.
