Ya know. I was thinking the same thing. I bet I could maybe get a smaller bolt screw it in as much as I could (break is deep) And maybe put thread locker on it. Or JB weld? to keep it in.

I am putting after market OBX pipes on it. IT came with a pretty thick gasket. I was going to put the original gasket along with the new gasket on. I was also going to go to summit in Reno and get me some new bolt to use. These things are trashed. And while I am there, maybe a jar of anti-seize (been putting it on everything I am putting back on)

What do you think?

I thought about pulling the head. But its 1 friggin bolt (at the end, closest to the firewall). It shouldnt be a problem.. I dont think...maybe over time? hmmmm

SO for updating purposes here is the end result of this. I ended up getting this out with an EZ out and a drill. Click on the link below to see.

Yeah I did it while the car was in. It was a crazy pain in the ***. Took 2 people and about 30 mins. Check the link and I have pics of it.

got to check those header bolts often an like with my set up being a crated 406 an so much tlbs ,I was told to check them every few weeks ,well I checked them after 2 months still tight but you need like 3 different wrenches to get to them all or I did an there not easy to get to ,some better then others ,now I know why some mechanics like to drink after work
