Service vehicle soon light
If its just and oil change reminder then to get rid of it you should just be able on a GM
OBD II is just turn the key to the battery on position hit the gas pedal three times and put your foot on the brake that should get rid of it.
Whats your mileage? Could just be one of those annoying mileage recommendation lights.

These two things could be related. Check the brake fluid level in your reservoir. A "Brake" light on in the dash, if it's not an electrical issue from the e-brake, means you could be low on fluid, or have air in the system. If that's the case, that could also be what's tripping your maintenance light.
Ok.. say I'm sitting in traffic ( I have mechanical gauage and the electronic guage) and its a hot day. The temp increases to aprox 228 when the fans come on.. I know.gauges r right cuz I have checked temp VIA scan tool, the lights will both come on... the SVS and brake light.. I have a feeling it may have something to.do.with the water temp. Unless the heat in the car is effecting the brake sensors..Idk.. But this has nothing to do with lol change..
Just for fun, have you checked your brake fluid level yet? Also try unplugging the wire from the pressure switch at the master cylinder. That switch will turn on your dash brake light if it reads low pressure, or air in the system. Curious if the warning lights will still go on the same way then.
