Does anyone know the normal running tempurature for a 97 V6? and one more thing, does the fan come on when it reaches regular running temp. or does it when it starts running a little warm?

 

What thermostst is in it ? It cannot run any cooler than the thermostat will allow. Factory is probably a 195 degree and they usually run at about 210.

 

not sure of the thermostat.. i think the lowest it goes is around 160 or so, but it usually does run around 210.. right now all thats in the radiator is water though, I flushed it and everything to put some Dex cool in it, and my dad put straight water right back in it.. I don't drive it right now though, so its nothing big..
