i really want to hear what a 3.8 with no muffler and dual exhaust sounds like... i have been lookind and havnt found anything... any help???

 

not a good sound at all, and you will lose power on a 6 cyl with straight pipes

ok then what muffler should i go with for a nice low rumble???... and i dont want single exhaust cuz i hate the look of it...

 

i have no mufflers and duals. doesnt sound too bad in my opinion, loud too. but am i really losing power! cuz i was thinking of getting flowmasters. i was thinking i lost power, cuz right now my 0-60 is like 8.5 seconds, and i THOUGHT it sused to be in the 7's, where it should be

 

ive got a v6 camaro and i had straight on it for a while. its sounds alright. it sounded like it had a crate motor in it. you dont wanna do that though. you'll lose power and gags milage. ive got the Z28 exhuast on it now now and it sounds damn good

 

Yeah you need that backpressure or you loose power.

Dont go too big with the pipe size either that will hurt you too. Atleast from what I have been told.

 

really, is it something noticeable? like say i get flowmasters whihc i want to, i will notice a difference, cuz it seemed it was faster before
