i have a 97 rs with rear drum brakes i would like to swap the rear end for one with disc brakes is it possible/hard if so what years can i get the rear end off of and no im not gonna sell my rs for a z28

 

I am looking for the same thing. I have been told to get one off a 93 up v8 camaro or firebird or 98 up v6 with y87(?) option. I've been running my butt off going to junk yards around here (southeastern ohio) looking for one and so far have come up short. If I should find one I'll take photos and post them to try and help you more. Do you think my mom would notice if I took the one off her Trans-Am?

 

if you get pics that would be geat as far as ur moms car u could try an take the rear end once its on ur car whats she gonna do chase you
