Default Oil leak

So i got a oil leak on my coming from my oil pan i believe. It seems like its leaking from the bolt. Have any of you replaced the oil pan on a 96 3.8? any tips?

You may need to jack the engine up a bit to make enough clearance to take out the oil pan, I would also replace the gasket/seal as well. Idk if a 96 requires tinkering with the tranny at all, I'm sure someone here can point it out

Oil pan sounds fine. Just needs a new gasket. I'm not sure how to remove the oil pan tho. Shouldn't be to hard. Just jack it up drain oil and unbolt.

Should be able to unbolt everything tilt the rear of it down far enough to slide the new gasket under the oil pump and rebolt everything back up.

While your down there, if there is any, I would clean any residual oil deposits that may have caked around the gasket seals

The manual says you need to drop the cross-member.

Are you sure it's not the rear main seal? That can be mistaken for a leaky pan gasket.
