i have a 97 rs and when i turn the steering wheel either way there is a noise its hard to explain the noise,squeaking,screeching grinding? my steering is fine easy to turn. does anyone know what that could be? thanks for your help.

 

does it sound like umm hydraulic cylinder kind of?

and you should check your power steering fluid

 

If your fluid level is good, then it may be the Rack going bad.
