my nam eis charles an di just joined this site. i recently bought a 98 camaro v6 5 speed after ditching my 2003 mitsubishi eclipse. i go ttired of tryin to mak ea 4 banger boht fast and sound good. not possible. anyways i noticed i have the angled intake manifold. does anyone know where i can get the straight one cheap and if i can put an aftermarket ls1 maf sensor on. thank you

 

The straight ones are on the '99+ years. The had the "drive by wire" throttle body, which didn't use a throttle cable like yours. I'm not sure how you'd going about to rig it up. You would have to get some sort of adapter plate in order to run a different throttle body (which is what you'd have to do to run LS1 MAF). Unless you are in possession of a built up car, I believe this move would be pointless...
