in need of some help, getting really frustrated
Your battery is dead, and this probably indicates that your alternator needs replacing as well. Have the alternator tested along with the battery... Nothing to do with the computer.
alrighty, sorry to be so persistant, just scared the daylights outta me on a busy road. thanks for putting up with me lol. ill post results when i get home from napa in the next few days.
Ok its not your alternator from the sounds of it. You said that you try to start your car and it will just die in the process of it starting. But after you disconnect the battery terminal for 5+ minutes and try to start it again its fine. If it was your alternator then when your car died it wouldnt rejuice the battery to start it after that hence your car wont start cuz the battery is dead. So to me it sounds like a computer issue. Unless your recharging your battery after you disconnect it. But you didnt supply that info.
no i just pop the hood and disconnect then reconnect. im having the alternator tested, battery, and whatever else i can find to test this saturday before work.
well it seems to be working now, i switched to the other key and replaced the connection between the battery and terminal and she started up everytime. So i guess i overlooked the smaller parts for the big parts, my mistake. So thank you for all the help guys and dealing with my frustration.
