Thanks for the kind words. I can't complain really. I do the work myself at the auto club. They have 4 bays with hoists, body bays, paint booth and all the tools. I only pay for the bay time at $5 per hour. I also get an awesome discount on parts through NAPA and Partsource. If it wasn't for that, there's no way I could afford to pay a garage to do it all for me.

Well, looks like I will be doing alot of work to the car over the winter. I hit some road construction (no signs) at 50kph and the rear end went into a 6" deep grout in the road. Separated the front part of the controller arm from the frame. The city of course isn't going good for it so I'll have to strip the car and fix any other spots too at the same time. It's going to be a long winter!

Nice build, and great read! Hate to hear about the damage. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of the mod saga unfold (after the damage is repaired, of course). I don't think there's anything about the look of this ride that I don't like. Great job!
