My 95 Camaro 3.4 Build Thread!
OK. It all started when I bought a 94 3.4V6 auto. I put a ton of work, time, and money into it. Eventually I sold it because I was tired of working on it. I then bought a 95 5spd. Here's a pic of the 2 together:
http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/camaros_5.jpg Here's a pic of the 95 a few days after I got it. The only mod done to it was the reflectice bowtie in the front because it didn't have one: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/camaro7.jpg Time for a few more mods. The first was a CAI! http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/rcam3.jpg Then silver Camaro lettering in the back, and I tinted the tail lights: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/rcam7.jpg Took the Camaro to the track. 16.2 not too impressive. http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/track.jpg Added some seat covers and a steering wheel cover to the interior: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/rcam1.jpg http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/rcam2.jpg Started to smell gas outside the car, and the clutch was getting sluggish. I put in a new gas tank and stage-II clutch. Sorry, no pics. Having some fun and testing out the clutch! http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/mrfreez3.jpg Winter's almost here, so time to put it away in late October. http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/camarocovered.jpg Started gathering some parts over the winter: Performance muffler http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/cammuffler.jpg High-Flow Cat: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/cat.jpg Need some better sound: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/deck.jpg HID fogs to match the HID headlights I got too: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/fogs.jpg Those amber corner lenses really bugged me so: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/lights.jpg |
Spring is here! Time to start putting all this stuff in the car!
HID's and fogs: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/hid2.jpg Didn't like the factory rims so I upgraded and also got 255/50/16 tires: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/rims1.jpg Got some fancy light covers too: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/Camaro_2.jpg Driveshaft went. Got a replacement: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/driveshaft.jpg I liked how the new exhaust was working, but the manifolds were leaking and in bad shape. Time for headers: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/headers.jpg Some idiot hit my camaro in my parking lot: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/camhit2.jpg Time to paint the Camaro! Sanded & primed: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/paint1.jpg Time to start spraying: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/paint5.jpg I liked the black roof so I painted the roof black. Here she is after paint: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/campaint1.jpg I need some nice tips for the Camaro! http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/tips2.jpg I should have replaced the U-Joints when I had the driveshaft out! Oh well: http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/ujoint1.jpg Sway bar link was getting old and the top loop came off. Time to weld. Changed all the sway bar links too. http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/links5.jpg Got the 30th Anniversary stripe kit! The perfect touch to the car! http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/stripes1.jpg http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/stripes2.jpg Took her back to the track! 15.2, that's better! http://www.gmtunerz.ca/camarobuild/track2.jpg |

|
I knowthis is an old thread, but,Im digging your car!
|
agreed great car. just wondering were you picked up the h.i.d lights and the stripes
|
Thanks for the comments guys! I have alot of plans this winter too! Port and polish upper & lower intake & throttle body. New fuel injectors, one-piece driveshaft, and posi rear-end. I'm also going to refinish and paint the factory Camaro rims. Black with chrome lip! I bought a 94 Firebird with the 3.4L with 140k on the engine for $300.00 so I'm grabbing parts off it and doing the work.
I got my HID's here: http://www.eurolamps.com/eurolamps/c...headlights.htm I got the stripes here: http://www.colebrothers.com/graphics/camaro.html This is where I got my silver lettering: http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl/vinyl.htm Stay tuned for updates! |
Do you have a link to the headers? How do you like them?
We bought the same radio BTW. :D |
thanks for the links. cant wait for more updates as i have the same camaro
|
I actually like the radio! The headers I bought on Ebay from a reputable shop in Arizona. The headers made a huge difference with the high-flow cat too.

Nice thread. Will check in on the progress from time to time.
