Jumpy on takeoff
Hello all! I have a 2002 3.8 5 speed with 65,xxx miles. before i explain the problem i want to be sure that im not stupid and i know how to drive a manual car! ok with that out of the way
when taking off in first gear, i engage the clutch, not reving the SHI@ out of it then leting off, and when i start giving it gas after the clutch is fully engaged, it starts to jump, not a lot but just enough to make the people in the car jump a little in thier seat. after i shift out of first into second around 2,100 rpm, the same thing happens after i shift, clutch fully engaged i give it gas gets a little jumpy. rarely happens in third but has happend. no other gears do this. now im thinking it maybe is a transmision mount?? any replys are apriciated!! thanks!!

It could be that you're due for a new set of spark plugs and wires (I recently changed mine after having a problem similar to what you describe)... but if they're new, or if changing them doesn't fix it, then it could be your clutch starting to go out.
My 95 had the same issues. After a full tune up, she runs great. Make sure you checkthe coil packs too
