you have to change both the upper and lower no way around it make sure you get the metal gaskets, its GM's redesign for the plastic ones leaking all the time. the egr port on the UIM does not have a gasket.

lower felpro MS98014T

upper felpro or what ever brand you want to use, same with valve covers.
heres the heater elbow there talking about Dorman/Heater Hose Fitting (47065) | 2001 Chevrolet Camaro 6 Cylinders K 3.8L SFI OHV | AutoZone.com you only need the long one but it comes with both

its not hard just takes time.


there are to hidden bolts as well




good luck and make sure your torque everything to spec and in sequence, or it will leak again. Haynes has all the info you need.
