Where is it?!?!

 

Page 56 Item 549 of the parts manual shows you where/what you are looking for. In this pic it is behind the throttle body on the left side.

Just incase you do not allready have it, which everyone should

just having a problem, according to the manual it shows the IAC valve to be
just behind the throttle body one the passenger side of the car
but in the picture you can clearly see its not there....is my motor different than
what i think it is?


and could this be the IAC valve?

 

Thats the map sensor on a air deverter.

 

i think stan was saying he didnt think the 99s have a iac but the tps did it electronically.

 

so do you think i need to replace the TPS?

 

If you would have had only one thread on this, you wouldn't need to jump between them to figure out what to try. I posted in the other thread in the main 4th gen section.

 

yeah i put in under both to maybe target a few more ppl with information

just thought there might be some ppl who looked in the v6 tech thread

and not the 4th gen thread wasnt sure, but should i replace the TPS

sensor or not?
