I have been in many stores like AutoZone but they keep giving me a completely different bulb.
Can anybody tell me the actual number of the dome light bulb so maybe I could order it online. I also want a blue or hyper white so it is even harder to find otherwise I would just get the original.

 

I'm also replacing the light and the retainer cause the wires burnt (where they connect to the retainer) when I had the doors open too long when doing the headliner. I received from NPD the chrome (plastic) retainer and a new bulb but I still need something to hold the bulb in the retainer. Right now, I have the 2 loose wires hanging thru the headliner. Can anyone give me a heads-up on this?Car is a 1979. Thanks.

 

Look on line. Lots of places have them including LED's. Check E-Bay. They can
t be that difficult to get with so many people using them.
