How do I remove the Tranny shifter
#2
As of writing this reply, 37 guys have read my post. No one has an answer. I guess it's up to me.
I found removing this shifter is about as easy as things get in life. Here is a very nice link to what I went thru.
How to Change/Install a Manual Shifter
I am thinking of getting a Hurst shifter. I am not into racing, but if my car can be more fun to drive, why not. So far, I am up to $350 spend on the clutch replacement. The shop estimated $1500. With the savings, if the clutch replacement goes great, when I am ready to put the shifter back on, I might opt for the hurst.

Why are you doing this job without the manual? They are in the manual download section.
I would guess that most people that looked at this post never pulled a manual trans.
