Default Shifter in Automatic Tranny Sticking?

I don't know how uncommon this problem is, because I had the same problem with my 88' RS as well... but to a much lesser extent. To make a long story short, the button on the top of the A/T shift **** is sticking incredibly bad. It's gotten to the point where at times I have to put all of my body weight on the button for it to allow me to shift from park. I've tried everything short of pulling the entire center console out of the car to get this thing working again. Has anyone had a similar problem with their A/T shifter? If so, how did you resolve it? If it helps, my Camaro is a 1995 RS with a 3.4 V6, and has abot 114,000 miles on it

Yeah, it seems to me that it sticks only when its sat outside all night or it's cold outside. I've been trying to figure it out because the car is going up for sale very soon, and I don't want this shifter problem to turn someone away from the car.
