Hi all, this is my first time on the site. I am a fairly new camaro owner and now will never own anything but if I can help it! But my baby has issues! lol No it's no joke, She shift's REALLY hard between first and second gear (at least that's what I think it is, she's an automatic so I'm kinda just guessing) and then she shifts hard again (but not anywhere NEAR as hard) when she switches (again I'm guessing) from second to third. I've tried to go to a mechanic but they told me I need to just get a new car that I won't have to work on since I don't know anything. But I want to learn!!! So any advice please?
I'm working with a friend of mine (long distance) advice, and he says it's the shift solenoid, and that both need to be replaced at once. I've checked into some diy stuff and I think I can do it. But can I get an opinion here? He's not a camaro owner and I want to hear it from someone who is.
