ok so i have a 1995 camaro 3.4L 5 speed. what model transmission is in that. im trying to sell the car and a guy asked me this question and i have no idea. i guess he has a 89 camaro and wants to pretty much swap tranmissions between the 2. would that work??

 

THat would be a Tremec T5 I do believe? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

As far as it transferring between the 89 and 95, I'm pretty sure it will as long as you have the right bellhousing, it should work.

 

gotcha. anybody else have some input on this? or can confirm it?

 

It is a t5. I'm not sure if it would fit. Just because both are t5's doesn't necessarily mean they will.
