Help needed. Spraying oil.
you dont want to go much over 50%, 40% is ok in warmer climates. if it get cold where your at then your on the right track. the block and core hold about half the coolant she holds so yah fill er up with the straight stuff and then once its full add water after that. make sure to check a few times and refill if needed after the first few warmups. wait till it cools of corse

It was pretty filthy for the first little bit, but then i kept flushing it with water for a few minutes and it looked pretty clean after that, but I'm going to go ahead and clean it out while I'm at it. Better to be proactive than reactive I guess.
But I'm having my mom pick up 2 gallons of straight antifreeze and a jug of the cleaner too. I hope the new connectors and hoses come in by next weekend so she'll be good to go. Until I get the new hoses and adaptors she'll have to sit. I'm not sure if I can trust the old hack job. As far as weather goes around here, it gets down around 20 during the winter and up in the 90's during the heat of summer.

So from the pictures you can see that I have a leak. I believe that it is from the heater core. What could this be, I'm thing a bad seal or something? Should this be a something hard to replace. I'm really just lost here. I don't know if I should just give up and take the dang thing to the shop and hop I don't get ripped off, or keep working on it. I have to go back to college tonight, I was just home for the weekend and my mom will have to give me a ride back. Should I just have it towed to a shop this week? I'm really working on a small budget here and it keeps getting smaller as we go. I'm nearly broke and need tires. This whole thing is really starting to get frustrating.
I'm positive it's anitfreeze, because it only leaks for little while when I'm putting in antifreeze and then it eventually quits. I'll check the hose again, but I don't think that it is the hose still leaking. If it's the front cover gasket how big of a job is that?
its one step farther than changing the water pump. once the pump is off theres like 4 or 6 bolts and it comes off. you really need to pick up a repair manual for your yr. i suggest a used factory service manual for your model and yr. if you can find one thats priced right. got mine for 20 bucks on ebabe. would be nice if massey or gorn would confirm what i am seeing and thinking.
ok so after a little research i found out the the place the hose connects it the automatic belt tensioner. I believe it may the the gasket that is goes on the back side of it that needs replaced.
