future cooling system problems?
I drive a 94 3.4l camaro and i'm wondering what you guys think about my cooling system. Here's a little background...got the car in 2000 with 99,000 miles on it..it now has just over 199,000 on it. From the start it was obvious the cooling system had been neglected. Shortly after buying it I had all the fluids changed and flushed and what not because you never know how a previous owner takes care of their car. The cooling system was so corroded that the machine the shop was using to flush it got clogged up. The coolant was that nasty redish-brown rusty color. In between then and now I have replaced the radiator and heater core due to getting clogged up. The thermostat has been replaced a few times too. After all the above work the coolant is nice and green and stays that way.
Looking back I realized that the running temp. slowly crept up over time from normal operating temp of 195 to "normal" temp of 210. So slowly that i never realized it was rising until after I had the radiator replaced. After the most recent work (replaced heater core and thermostat, 195 degree) the N.O.T. was 185 and has over the last year has crept up to 195.
Is this anything to worry about since my car has shown this type of behavior before?
Is it safe to assume that due to the amount of corrosion in the system before that there is still some leftover that may be clogging my system again?

The stock thermostat does not even open to 195 and I dont think the fan kicks on until 220. Plus your factory gage is not very accurate. I do not think you have a problem
