fuel filter?

RE: fuel filter?
You're suppose to change it every 30,000 miles, but I don't see the need to unless you put in cheap gas and water or other debris gets in there. At 115,000 miles it can't hurt to change it, only an $8 or so filter.
What you have to do is:
1.relieve fuel pressure
2.jack it up
3.depress the white plastic quick-disconnect tab and detatch the lines from the filter
4.wrap a rag around the fuel lines so gas doesn't go everywhere
5.use a wrench to steady the filter and unscrew the fuel line and take off the filter (use a flare nut wrench on the fuel line if you can)
6.When putting on the new filter use needle nose pliars to push the tabs on the bracket into the chasis
You also might want to replace the O-ring on the end of the fuel line or just put a dab of oil on it when putting everything back together.
